At its meeting on 8 December 2011, the National Skills Standards Council (NSSC) decided that in order to comply with the AQTF Essential Conditions and Standards for Initial / Continuing Registration or the VET Quality Framework, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are required to collect and report their performance against the learner engagement, employer satisfaction and competency completion quality indicators to their registering body.

Quality indicator results for the previous calendar year are due to registering bodies on 30 June 2013. As outlined on the NSSC's website, RTOs should contact their registering body to confirm the format and method for submitting their data.
