Gricel Mendez
Gricel is passionate about the disability sector, innovation, positive thinking and personal growth. As the mother of a child with a developmental disability Gricel has had to combine her professional experience and personal interests to provide a positive and empowering environment for her three daughters.
Gricel strongly believes in the benefits of innovation and technology in education. Recently she left TAFE NSW to set up her own company; SET2LEARN. Gricel has a Masters in Educational Leadership in which she focused in the study of innovation in education. She received the “Outstanding Innovation and Use of Technology Award” for South Western Sydney Institute of TAFE in 2015 and was awarded the “SWSI STAFF OF THE YEAR” Award for her outstanding commitment to the region’s vocational education and training students at the 2015.

This will be a practical session for participants to explore new and simple ways to develop assessments that meet the needs of your local industry.
